Since the SOM can be directly soldered on the carrier board, the module is a right fit for products which are prone to vibrations and require a compact form factor. The SOM provides designers a flexible and scalable option for their product while shortening their up time to market. A designer can accelerate time to market with reduced risk. The SOM is application-ready and comes with all the necessary software drivers and BSPs(Board Support Packages) with software support of Ubuntu, Debian, Android and Linux.
